How much does dryer repair cost in San Antonio?

The diagnostic visit is $79, and it’s free when you go ahead with any repair. Dryer labor is $155 to $235 depending on what failed and how long the repair takes. Up to 80% of dryer repairs fall in that range; some cost more. Parts are extra and quoted before any work starts. Senior, military and first-time discounts apply to labor only. Why is my dryer running but not heating?

On an electric dryer, no heat often points to the heating element, a thermal fuse or a thermostat. Tom confirms the real cause at the diagnostic visit and quotes the repair before any work starts.

Do you repair gas dryers?

No. We only repair electric dryers. We don’t work on gas dryers or any gas appliances.

Why does my dryer take so long to dry?

It can be a heating problem or an airflow problem. Tom checks both at the diagnostic visit so you know exactly what’s wrong.

Is my old dryer worth repairing?

Often it is, but not always. If a repair would cost close to a new dryer, Tom will tell you before any work starts. You can also call or text him first; phone advice is free.

What are your hours, and how soon can Tom come out?

Appointments are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and we can usually come the same or next business day. Calls and texts are answered Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm, at (210) 209-3029.

Is the dryer repair guaranteed?

Yes. Every repair comes with a 60-day limited warranty on labor and all parts, and OEM parts carry a 6-month warranty through the manufacturer. The warranty covers the same issue we repaired. It doesn’t cover a different part that fails later. For example, if we replace your ice maker and the fan motor goes out later, that’s a new repair.

Do you repair washers too?

Yes. Washer labor is $155 to $265, plus parts, with the same $79 diagnostic that’s free with any repair. See washer repair.
