Tomtecki is a one-man, owner-operated appliance repair business on the north side of San Antonio. When you call, you talk to Tom. When someone rings your doorbell, it’s Tom. And every repair is done by Tom, a certified master technician, nationally certified since 2016.

My story

From a Fort Worth classroom to your kitchen.

How a certified technician ended up running his own appliance repair business in San Antonio.

    Studied in Fort Worth

    I studied in Fort Worth to earn my national appliance technician certification.

  2. 2016

    Nationally certified

    I passed my national certification exams in 2016.

  3. Sept 2016

    Started my own business

    Most of my classmates went to work for the big repair companies. I started my own, so I could do the work the way I believe it should be done.

  4. 2022–2025

    Neighborhood Fave, four years running

    Neighbors voted Tomtecki a Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

  5. Today

    An expert, 14,000+ appointments later

    After more than 10 years in appliance repair and over 14,000 appointments, I’ve become an expert in all types of kitchen and laundry appliance repair. Still owner-operated, still doing every repair myself.

No subcontractors and no strangers. The owner shows up, every time.

If a repair isn’t worth the money, I’ll tell you, even on the phone, for free.

$79 diagnostic, free with any repair. You approve the price before I start.

OEM parts & warranty

60-day limited warranty on labor and parts, plus 6 months on OEM parts.

Same owner, new spelling. In 2025 the business name changed by one letter, from Tomtechi to Tomtecki. Same Tom, same phone number, same honest service. If you see the old name on an older van or shirt, it’s still me.
